The 13th edition of the London Supply Cup organized by the London Supply Group Foundation took place in Club Lago Golf in Punta del Este, Uruguay. The record amount raised was USD 809,276 and it will be donated to SAMIC hospital, in Puerto Iguazú as well as to continue the ongoing works in the Elderly Home San Ramón.
For the past 13 years, the Foundation has been carrying on this event donating the total amount raised to different charity engagements. In this opportunity, the funds will be destined to continuing with the ongoing works in the Elderly Home San Ramón in Puerto Iguazú, to its infrastructure and technological equipment. In addition, works to build a Rehabilitation Centre in Marta Schwartz Hospital in Puerto Iguazú, where treatment, rehabilitation, home and care will be offered to children and teenagers suffering from different pathologies.
The decision to build this First Integral Rehabilitation Centre in this region was taken within the framework of the desire the Foundation has to contribute to the full exercise of the rights that people with disabilities have, contemplated in the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and recently incorporated to the Argentine Constitution.
The Foundation thanks the sportive and charitable spirits of the participants of the London Supply Cup. Thanks to them we exceeded all expectations and raised this huge amount of USD 809,276. This new donation will allow us to go on offering equal opportunities, the main purpose of this Foundation that, year after year, keeps focusing on its charitable initiatives.
