 London Supply Group Foundation was founded in 2008 in Barrio 1 ° de Mayo, one of the humblest conglomerates in the city of Puerto Iguazú, Province of Misiones, Argentina, home to about 2,000 families living in extreme poverty.

Primary School N° 875 “Doña Mercedes García de Taratuty” was inaugurated in September 2010 and today has more than 600 students.


The establishment equipped with a kitchen, dining room, computer room, library and a soccer field with professional measurements.


It should be noted that the children receive breakfast, lunch and snack daily.

In 2014, the Mother and Child Garden "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" was inaugurated, which receives 250 babies from 45 days of age to 4 years of age.


Regarding the functional characteristics, the building includes an area for early care medical offices, two areas for intensive care rooms with their corresponding service areas (infirmary and storage rooms), a multipurpose room (dining room, events, etc.), an administrative area and another service area composed of kitchen and toilets. It is complemented by an outdoor recreation and games area. All areas of the kindergarten make up a computer network that allows digital interaction.


It should be noted that the boys receive breakfast, lunch and snack every day.

In March 2013, the London Supply Group Foundation inaugurated the Provincial Oriented Baccalaureate N° 106 “Don José Taratuty” with a focus on Tourism, a secondary school with capacity for 600 adolescents that has its own Youth Club self-managed by the boys, who carry out the buffet and the park's sports activities.


In turn, the establishment has a computer room, a fully equipped library and a basketball, handball, volleyball and soccer field, all with professional measurements.


It should be noted that the children receive breakfast, lunch and snack daily.

In 2018, the San Ramón Nursing Home was inaugurated thanks to funds obtained from the 11th and 12th edition of the "London Supply Cup" Golf Tournament. It included the improvement of the building conditions of the current building, which was in deterioration, and the construction of a Day Home, intended to provide services for both local residents and elderly people who need to spend part of their time day in a residence of this type.


The Day Home has a 1,165 m² building in a privileged sector of the land with views of the banks of the Paraná River. It also has living areas, equipped with game tables, rest areas, gym, dining room and kitchen.


Likewise, the building contains medical offices, nursing and rehabilitation rooms, administrative offices, a laundry room, and a toilet area specially equipped and adapted for the elderly.


 


 


The Hogar de Día has a 1165 mts.² building in a privileged sector of the land with views of the banks of the Paraná River. It also has living areas, equipped with tables for games, rest areas, gym, dining room and kitchen. Likewise, the building contains medical offices, nursing and rehabilitation rooms, administrative offices, a laundry room, and a sanitary area specially equipped and adapted for the elderly.

In 2020, the “Las Gaviotas” Provincial Experimental School in the city of Ushuaia, in the Province of Tierra del Fuego, was inaugurated, thanks to the proceeds from the 14th edition of the "London Supply Cup" Golf Tournament.


This work materializes the dream of an entire educational community that, since the creation of the School in 2003, has been forced to move around different borrowed locations, with the ever-present desire to obtain their own space to settle.


This establishment, located in Alakalufes and provided by the Municipality of Ushuaia, receives 130 students daily and, at the same time, has multiple differentiated spaces that facilitate the implementation of the innovative pedagogical modality of “Las Gaviotas”, which follows the guidelines proposed by the “Roberto Themis Speroni” Higher Education Institute of Buenos Aires.

The London Supply Group Foundation inaugurated the “San Juan Pablo II” Sanctuary Parish in the 1° de Mayo neighborhood of the city of Puerto Iguazú.



The Sanctuary Parish “Saint John Paul II” was conceived under the parish-museum model and includes different thematic rooms that pay tribute to the life and work of Pope Saint John Paul II, with a permanent exhibition of elements that belonged to the beloved “ “Travelling dad.”


 


This Parish, donated to the Bishopric of Misiones, complements other important works built and donated by the Foundation in the city of Puerto Iguazú. The most significant of these initiatives is an Educational Park for 1,500 students, which includes the “Mother Teresa of Calcutta” Kindergarten, the Primary School N° 875 “Doña Mercedes García de Taratuty” and the Provincial Oriented High School N° 106 “Don José Taratuty” . This space guarantees children in the area support, food and educational continuity from 45 days of age to 18 years of age.
