The London Supply Group Foundation inaugurated the “San Juan Pablo II” Sanctuary Parish in the 1° de Mayo neighborhood of the city of Puerto Iguazú.
The inauguration of this new work symbolizes the culmination of years of effort and dedication by the London Supply Group Foundation to provide the community with a refuge of hope and growth, as well as a space for gathering and social cohesion.
The “Saint John Paul II” Sanctuary Parish was conceived under the parish-museum model and includes different thematic rooms that pay tribute to the life and work of Pope Saint John Paul II, with a permanent exhibition of elements that belonged to the beloved during his lifetime.

This Parish, donated to the Bishopric of Misiones, complements other important works built and donated by the Foundation in the city of Puerto Iguazú. The most significant of these initiatives is an Educational Park for 1,500 students, which includes the “Mother Teresa of Calcutta” Kindergarten, the Primary School No. 875 “Doña Mercedes García de Taratuty” and the Provincial Oriented High School No. 106 “Don José Taratuty.” . This space guarantees children in the area support, food and educational continuity from 45 days of age to 18 years of age.
Firm with its social and educational commitment, the inauguration of the “San Juan Pablo II” Sanctuary Parish represents one more step towards the construction of a more supportive and united community, "Putting more where there is less".
