The 5th edition of the "Super Healthy" pediatric campaign and the 3rd edition of the "Super Healthy Teeth" dental campaign converged last week in five consecutive days of comprehensive medical checkups that reached the students of the Educational Park, built, donated and sponsored by the London Supply Group Foundation in the 1° de Mayo neighborhood.
The "Super Healthy Teeth" campaign focused on the attention of the 1,500 students who attend the Educational Park. All of them received prevention treatments with fluoride and training workshops in hygiene and brushing.
In addition, personalized attention was provided to more than two hundred preschool and first grade boys and girls, who are still in the process of replacing their teeth.
The interventions, which were carried out in classrooms adapted for this purpose, included dental restoration tasks and laser braces surgeries.
Regarding the "Super Healthy" pediatric campaign, this year it focused on students from first to fourth grade at Primary School N° 875 “Doña Mercedes García de Taratuty”.
Within this framework, more than 350 students received comprehensive medical examinations, including: pediatric, audiological, otorhinolaryngological, ophthalmological check-ups and the incorporation this year of a nutrition office, in order to develop personalized nutrition plans based on the needs and realities of every boy and girl.
