The London Supply Group Foundation, through its internal campaign "Crossed Hugs", financed entirely with contributions from the 1,500 colleagues who work in the Group, donated $1,025,500 to the Shelter House for victims of trafficking.
In an event held in the press room of the Government House of the city of Posadas, which was attended by the Chief of Staff of Ministers of the Province of Misiones and provincial and national legislators, the symbolic check was presented with the amount collected.
This entity depends on the Undersecretary of Equal Opportunities of the Ministry of Human Rights of the Province of Misiones, and they have been working since 2008 on the assistance and containment of people affected by this aberrant crime. Once received by court order, the victims are housed in the Shelter House, where they receive social, medical, psychological, economic and legal attention to reintegrate socially and professionally into society.
