On Saturday, Sister María Badini Confalonieri and Sister Carmen Elena Rivera, Salesian Missionaries, together with Father Daniel Schmidt, received the food and funds raised from our annual “Crossed Hugs” campaign that we carry out together with the Guido Badaloni Foundation, belonging to the ANDESMAR group of companies to benefit the children's soup kitchen, “Cenando con María del Rosario” that they run in the Barrio Austral. .
The effort and solidarity promoted by both Foundations among their employees, friends, clients and collaborators who, voluntarily, decided to contribute to the nutrition of children in our country, has undoubtedly exceeded the expectations of all of us who are part of this campaign. managing to collect 3,733 kg of non-perishable food and $285,457 as a result.
The dream of the children of Rio Grande having a new operational dining room as soon as possible is getting closer and closer.
