The  London Supply Group Foundation donated high-tech equipment to the local hospital in the city of Puerto Iguazú  for the Intensive Care and X-Ray units, undoubtedly marking a before and after in the life of the inhabitants of that city.

The 9th Edition of the “London Supply Cup” Golf Tournament held in January 2013 raised $303,585 USD, which Foundation donated to the SAMIC Hospital to purchase state of the art equipment.

The amount collected bought and donated the following equipment and medical instruments: 1 Fixed X-ray Device; 1 portable X-ray Device; 1 Image Digitizer; 1 Defibrillator  1 Multiparameter Monitor; 10 anti-bedsore mattress; 6 nasal masks; 1 intubation guide; 30 Catheters; 30 Filter Humidifiers; 12 Pressurizers; 1 Headlight; 4 Peak flow exercisers and 4 Tri-balls; 2  Advance Pediatric, Adult and Neonatal Neumovent Respirators; 1 PR4 Transportable Respirator; 1 Pacemaker; 8 infusion devices; 1 Portable Spirometer, and 2 boxes of 200 disposable Spirometry mouthpieces.

With this new equipment, along with the investments already made by the Ministry of Health, the Hospital will be able to receive patients who may stay in intensive care, as well as performing x-rays daily with the latest technology on the market.

The x-ray has a fixed unit and a mobile unit, which is used in cases of patients who cannot move, and an image digitizer, which converts all X-ray images into digital formats for viewing on a monitor. This will save hours and even days in obtaining results of complex studies, which often had to be sent to Buenos Aires by conventional mail. With the new equipment, X-ray results can be sent within minutes by email for consultations between colleagues in the medical discipline concerned.

In addition to supporting the hospital with this donation, the Foundation collaborates with monthly contributions to the hospital daycare center.
