On October 26th, in an official act attended by Teddy Taratuty, President of the Foundation, as well as municipal authorities and the local media, eight hundred eighty-eight bottles of Clarins hand sanitizing gel were donated and delivered to the Intendancy of Maldonado Department, Uruguay.

The sanitizing products were distributed to eight nursing homes, senior centers and elderly associations within the jurisdiction, selected by the Intendancy, to contribute to the preventive measures established for the care of elderly adults in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The recipients were: The “Eva González Olaza de Núñez” Elderly Home in Pan de Azúcar, the “Ginés Cairo Medina” Home in Maldonado, the Aiguá Elderly Home, the “Maestra Juana Guerra” Home, the “Ecilda Cardozo” Home in San Carlos, the day center in Odizzio neighborhood and the elderly associations “Alegría y Amistad” in Cerro Pelado and “Saber Vivir” in Maldonado Nuevo.

We are especially grateful to Clarins Group, company provider, who made the products available to us so that we could help others, and to London Supply’s Commercial Department, who arranged the donation.
