Last Friday, January 4th, London Supply Group Foundation celebrated the 15th edition of their London Supply Cup, the classic benefit golf tournament they organize and hold at Club del Lago Golf in Punta del Este, Oriental Republic of Uruguay. The event raised USD 723,357 (ARS 27,704,573) which will be used to finance the various programs and charitable actions currently being developed by the Foundation, thus guaranteeing their continuity throughout the year. Among other objectives, it will allow them to continue feeding the 1,500 children who have breakfast, lunch and an afternoon meal every day in the Educational Area Barrio Primero de Mayo, which was donated and is sponsored by the Foundation, in the city of Puerto Iguazú, Misiones. They will also work there to install educational and productive vegetable gardens that will allow young people to learn how to grow food and will help them become aware of responsible food consumption practices. This ambitious project will, at the same time, supply food to cover the needs of the Educational Area's canteen. In this way, they will continue to support the more than ten canteens they contribute to in different cities across Argentina.

Since its creation in 2008, the London Supply Group Foundation has worked tirelessly to help meet the needs of the underprivileged, based on the three pillars of health, education and social support. For this reason, in 2019 they will once again conduct the pediatric campaign "Supersanitos" (Superhealthy), which for two consecutive years has provided comprehensive medical examinations for the "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" Nursery School and the "Doña Mercedes García de Taratuty" Primary School. Furthermore, their partnership with the Football Club Internazionale Milano will continue through their program of Corporate Social Responsibility called Inter Campus. The aim of the program is to work with low-income children, using the sport to teach them ethical and moral values. To this end, the money raised during the golf cup is pivotal to support the broad range of projects carried out by the Foundation.

The London Supply Cup charity golf tournament is one of the most prominent events of each season, both because of its excellent competitive level and because of the substantive funds it collects each year, which are always on the rise and are unfailingly destined to support worthwhile causes. Its previous edition raised the sum of USD 990,228, which was used to build a new educational establishment for the Experimental Provincial School “Las Gaviotas” in the city of Ushuaia, Tierra de Fuego. Since its beginning, this institution has been forced to move through several buildings, but because of the work carried out by the Foundation and the funds that were raised in 2018, this will not always be the case.
