The London Supply Group Foundation, through its Campaign “Abrazos Cruzados” (Crossed Hugs) which is fully financed by the donation of the 1500 colleagues that for the Group, donated ARS 1,025,500 to the Shelter Home for victims of Human Trafficking.

The event where the symbolic check with the amount raised was handed over took place in the Press Room of the House of Government of the City of Posadas and was attended by the Chief of Ministers of the Province of Misiones together with provincial and national Legislators.

This entity is part of the Undersecretariat of Equal Opportunities of the Ministry of Human Rights of the Province of Misiones and has been working since 2008 to assist and support victims of such a horrifying crime. Once the victims are sent by judicial order to this Shelter Home, they are hosted and provided with social, medical and psychological in addition to economical and legal assistance to help them reinsert in society and into the workforce.

The amount raised by Abrazos Cruzados hit a new record thanks to the participation of all the members of the Group, leaded by its coordinators that through a variety of activities managed to accomplish such a huge objective.
