Last Friday 9th January at the Club de Lago Golf Club in Punta del Este, Uruguay, London Supply held its 11th annual charity golf tournament, this year raising a record $645,848, to be distributed between various charities.

For the eleventh consecutive year the Club de Lago of Punta Del Este welcomed players to its spectacular greens in order to raise funds in the name of great causes.

Over the years various charities have been carefully selected to receive the funds raised from the event. This year saw the turn of the San Ramon of Puerto Iguazu elderly persons home, where funds will be used to better the general infrastructure of the building as well as better equip it with the latest technologies. In addition funds will also be allocated to support families in the Puerto Iguazu area who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder, in the form of medical advice and direction on available treatments.

This year 152 players took part in the tournament, amongst them one of Argentinas’ most famous golfers, Vicente “El chino” Fernandez, who has represented the country at the highest level. Thanks to the spirit of the players, the generosity of all involved, and as always, the good will of our sponsors we managed to raise a grand total of $645,845, an amount that surpassed all expectations. Thanks to this years’ donations the residents of the San Ramon elderly persons home and the families of children suffering with Autism Spectrum Disorder will enjoy a better quality of life.
