Just like every summer during the last 12 years, London Supply Group Foundation organized a new edition of London Supply Cup Tournament for charity in Club del Lago Golf. The 12th edition took place on 8 January, where 165 players and sports fans gathered in Punta del Este to compete and collaborate. All what is collected in each event is earmarked for different charitable commitments, including that of 2014, for the Daycare Center and Kindergarten “Madre Teresa”, entirely donated by London Supply Group Foundation in Puerto Iguazu, which currently deals with children from 45 days to 3 years old.

This time, the same as last year, the funds will be used to assist “San Ramon” Nursing Home in Puerto Iguazu, to improve its infrastructure and technological equipment. In addition, lead by the president of the Foundation, Teddy Taratuty, a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center with materials and technology of the highest quality will be created to provide treatment to people with physical and cognitive disabilities, including those who are on the autism spectrum, in order to bring the necessary information to detect symptoms belonging to that spectrum to Puerto Iguazu families.

The renowned tournament had the participation of 165 players, fans and sports celebrities, including Enzo Francescoli, former football player and member of River Plate team, as well as Rodolfo D’Onofrio, the current team’s president. Thanks to the sporting spirit and solidarity of all participants and the support of the sponsors that are every year with us, we managed to raise an amazing and bulky record figure of USD 729,159, which still has the organizers thrilled.

With this new donation from the London Supply Group Foundation, the elder people of San Ramon Nursing Home, and the families of those attending the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center will have a better life quality, as they will be able to receive treatments difficult to obtain in the province and will have information on pathologies. Providing equal opportunities is the objective of the Foundation that year after year continues to surprise with its solidarity initiatives, always focusing efforts where it matters.
